Dizzy's worried you're not going to be her friend anymore since she broke up with McCormack. Meaghan, too. I don't usually try to reason with her, but I figured I'd make an effort with you. Please? I know he's your best mate and all, but she's really upset and I don't even think she totally wanted to do it. Just that she's leaving this year and all and is pretty confused. Think you could reassure her somehow or something? I don't know, I just don't want her upset if she doesn't have to be. |

| 10:03 pm | Glad I came home. Mum cried. Merlin, you'd think I'd been gone two terms, not three-fourths of one. Needed the break, too, honestly, and it's just as easy to study for exams here as it is there. It's always sort of strange being back, especially after that long. I kind of forget where I am, almost. Keep running into the foot of my bed at night. Good thing you don't need your toes for Quidditch, right? ( Hexed Private ) |

| 3:33 pm | ( Hexed Private ) [Hexed to Gryffindor Quidditch] Hey Charlie? You know, we'll win a lot faster if you let us live. Trying to play with four or five dead teammates isn't going to do much. Though, really, as long as you get the snitch, we're pretty much good to go no matter how many of us are still breathing. Just do it before they score and we're okay. One thing I really wish is that they were a little more exploratory with the food. Don't get me wrong, no one cooks better than a Hogwarts elf, but something new and fun shouldn't be frowned on. Chinese, maybe, or Italian. Something--well, something not the same things we've had every night since I was eleven, you know? Though admittedly, I can't even see the best of house elves cooking up Thai or Indian and having that show up. Wishful thinking, regardless. |

And you know, water's not so bad. Add some sugar, it's pretty good. Think I might be safer drinking that for a bit. Not that I necessarily wound up on the poorer side of the activities of Valentine's night, at least mine were all the opposite gender and not related to me, but yeah. Better safe than sorry. |

| 1:06 am | Blah blah Valentine's Day blah. Is that really all we have to worry about anymore? Suck it up and ask someone or go on your own, it's that simple. Or, in the case of bickering snogging second years, you shut yourselves up and don't go at all. Honestly, whinging about it isn't going to get you a date anywhere because, quite frankly, who wants a date who moans and groans about little things? It's pretty boring. It's a stupid holiday anyway, but the least those of us who aren't interested could do is shut up about it and let those who are enjoy it. And we'll do the same for someone who's, say, really into St. Patrick's Day. Or Easter. Or...the first day of April? I don't know, you know what I mean. And speaking of, when did second years start snogging in the library? I'm starting to feel inadequate in comparison, it's sort of sad, really. Lucky them. Eew. Eeew eew eew eeeeew. Anonymous journal writers of the world, please stay away from all things McCormackally incest related. I'd rather be doing my potions homework then sleep with that thought. It's appreciated.
